Looking for a way to connect with others on a particular topic?
Lean Agile KC will have the perfect forum – Open KC!
Open KC is a modified version of the popular Open Space Technology. The intent of Open KC is to provide a space for people with a common interest to gather, self-organize and focus on the topics they are most interested.
Those interested in convening a session propose their topic during the initial Market Place, and select a time and space for it. Those interested in that topic join and have a self-organized discussion. Whether you have ideas to share, or are simply interested in listening to others that are sharing, Open KC provides a forum for all to be involved and learn. Open KC is a place to share your expertise, or to seek out the expertise you are needing.
Open KC Principles:
1. Whoever comes is the right people
2. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have
3. Whenever it starts is the right time
4. When it’s over, it’s over
5. Law of two feet (or law of mobility)
This year we will be trying something new: we will be adding “Sparks” throughout the Open KC sessions. Sparks are short presentations (< 15 minutes) to provoke thought. These may generate new sessions in the Market Place. Spark will be announced and added to the program prior to the event.
The Open KC event will run concurrently with the Deep Dive sessions.

Note: Sparks are inspired by an Open Space in DC this year (thank you Paul Boos!)
